They poured the walls on a Tuesday and told me the furniture was arriving Thursday.

The letters out front rusted straight through. I have not aged a day. I am not sure which of us is winning.

The shirt is plain because the print was a separate delivery. It never turned up either.

The lamp in the corner has been on longer than I have been standing here, and I have been standing here the whole time.
